The relationship you have with your daughter means everything to the both of you–even if rolling eyes and insistent "whatevers" are the bulk of the communication you currently share. Who you are, how you see yourself, and where you hope to go in life is inricately connected to your closest relationships. The bond between mother and daughter, aunt and niece, mentor and youth is truly the most powerful force on our self image and sense of life purpose (even for adults!).
For ten years I have been facilitating the KARMA Girls Only Program for children between the ages of 8 and 18. What is the greatest lesson I have learned from working with so many children and youth? They NEED their mommas! Children, more than anything, NEED and long for an intimate relationship with a caregiver who provides unconditional love, acceptance and security. As moms, aunts, family friends, guardians we hold the key to fulfilling this need for them–even when it seems they don't want it. Believe me….they do. They really do.
The greatest challenge of parenthood in today's busy world is finding the balance of time. Work, school, after school activities, driving duty, aging parents, pets, housework, exercise, friends, miscellaneous obligations all mix together to create a difficult parenting stage. It's easy to see how life gets in the way of our most important relationships–the KARMA Mother Daughter Workshop is here to help!
Join us for a series of interactive workshops INSPIRING mothers and daughters to share, connect and nurture a lasting APPRECIATION for one another. Insightful, FUN, and educational–the KARMA workshops teach UNDERSTANDING and real-life communication tools. Be sure to bring an open mind and loads of laughs. Mom's and daughters will enjoy learning how these three transformational POWERS impact how we LIVE, ENJOY and DIRECT our lives.
We'll talk about all things "girly"–media influence, body image, family roles, friendships, health, love and family.PLUS each registrant receives a keepsake photobook journal– pictures taken at the workshop to begin the book of YOUR mother-daughter life story!

"Trisha has a natural ability to not only connect with her audience, but to lead students to make enlightening realizations about how media impacts their self image. I highly recommend her to any organization that wants to impart lessons in self awareness and leadership!"
